Massive Injustice in Arizona
This story REALLY makes me mad. Here's the beginning, which sums it all up:

2 Illegal Immigrants Win Arizona Ranch in Court
By ANDREW POLLACK
DOUGLAS, Ariz., Aug. 18 - Spent shells litter the ground at what
is left of the firing range, and camouflage outfits still hang
in a storeroom. Just a few months ago, this ranch was known as
Camp Thunderbird, the headquarters of a paramilitary group that
promised to use force to keep illegal immigrants from sneaking
across the border with Mexico.
Now, in a turnabout, the 70-acre property about two miles from
the border is being given to two immigrants whom the group
caught trying to enter the United States illegally.
Here's a link to the whole article:
http://www.nytimes.com/2005/08/19/national/19ranch.htmlThis is wrong. If you want to convict these men of a crime because they violated federal law -- although I personally think that, since the government refuses to enforce our borders, SOMEONE has to -- fine. But to reward these illegal aliens -- not immigrants, immigrants are people who do it the right way -- for violating not only our laws but ultimately our National Security, is sickening. It is total injustice. The idea that these people will now profit from their crimes while the people who were trying to protect us from these criminals are now rotting in jail totally disgusts me.
